We are based in and around Blackrock, Cork. We are an active club of 100+ members. We walk just about every weekend in the hills and mountains of Munster. We also go further afield for weekends, and trips abroad. Walks are graded so you know what you are letting yourself in for. The club was founded in June 2002.
We usually meet at a service station so that members can grab a cuppa or the newspaper before starting off.
The walks schedule is published to the website and sent by email to all members. Members also get a text each week with details of the walks that weekend.
The committee meets monthly and members should raise any topics of interest / concern to committee members on walks / outings or directly via info@blackrockhillwalkingclub.ie.
